Introduction to the Code for Sustainable Homes (10/01/08)

NOTES & PRESENTATIONS AVAILABLE...This event was an ideal opportunity for delegates to gain an insight into how the Code works and the benefits it will bring to the North West. It will also explain EcoHomes XB – the environmental assessment method for existing managed housing stock. 

The event (in partnership with the North West Domestic Energy Alliance) also saw the launch of 'Delivering Sustainable Housing in the North West', a joint initiative between the North West Regional Assembly and the North West Domestic Energy Alliance.

The event covered:

  • New build homes
  • Existing housing stock
  • Practical guidance
  • Examples of Good Practice from throughout the region
